Before first use: the unit ships empty. Charge it fully for at least 4 hours before jump starting a car.

How to use: connect the red clamp to the battery's (+) terminal and the black clamp to clean bare metal, plug in the connector, then start the engine (max 3 seconds per try, wait 60 seconds between tries). Disconnect within 30 seconds of the engine starting. If the car doesn't start after 3 tries, stop and have the vehicle checked.
